Crafts for a Cause w/ The Young Presenters Project!

"Teamwork makes the dream work," says every school teacher. It's one of the most cliche sayings ever. But it is true, something that individuals need to remember as they grow older.

Today and the previous Saturday, CT Speech & Action (CTSA) was supported by The Young Presenters Project (TYPP) in selling crafts, handmade bracelets, bookmarks, bubbles, stickers, and more to raise funds for future leadership and community service events. Thanks to everyone lending a helping hand, CTSA was able to raise $260 that went towards a tent, banner, website fees, and event fees for the August 1 Long Wharf Cleanup.

If you are new, The Young Presenters Project provides free in-person public speaking workshops for elementary and middle schoolers. CTSA provides free leadership conferences, speech contests, and community service events for 6-12. Together, we were able to empower each other. We are so grateful for TYPP and cannot wait for future collaborations!
