CT Speech & Action
About Us
CT Speech & Action is a student-based organization dedicated to educational discourse and community service. Through attending public speaking events, our founders learned about modern issues that affect American youth. However, there was no way to actually drive change with our words. CT Speech & Action was founded with the idea that both raising awareness and making a real difference were essential components to public speaking.
We began to focus on uniting the educational discourse community with social action through hosting tournaments/trips with activism projects. We fully fund and host educational discourse tournaments for our students. Issues brought up from the Educational Discourse branch carry into our social activism branch through the form of semester long projects. We believe that this is the key to change--advocacy with action!

Interact & Rotary
Our relationship with the international Rotary organization is special. We are registered as an interact club under Rotary, even though our name does not include 'interact.' Regardless, our goals of youth empowerment, social action, and community service are aligned, and Rotary has become a large backing organization behind CTSA.
